About Curious Questions

Our Mission

In a world full of quick answers and endless scrolling, we believe there's something magical about pausing to ask a meaningful question. Curious Questions exists to spark those moments of reflection that often get lost in the busyness of everyday life.

Every week, we send a single thought-provoking question directly to your phone. We are not vying for your attention or trying to introduce another social media app. Rather, we want to introduce a weekly question that invites you to think a little deeper, connect with yourself, or start a meaningful conversation with someone you care about.

We believe that curiosity is the gateway to growth. The right question at the right moment can unlock new perspectives, strengthen relationships, and remind us of what truly matters. Our goal is simple: to help you live a more thoughtful, connected life—one question at a time.

The Story

Curious Questions was thought of as an idea in 2022 by its founder Kyle Chalmers, but did not become a reality until 2026. Similar to many others, Kyle had grown tired of the attention-grabbing and surface-level nature of our existing social media platforms and wanted something that provoked deeper thought and actually facilitated connection between people without competing for their attention. What if there was an app that was actually designed for and dedicated to that mission? Curious Questions is that thought come to life.

The Curious Questions cat was inspired by his family's cat Aurora (pictured below) who is one of the most curious, playful, and sweet creatures he's ever known. Her personality is the inspiration for the branding and design.
